Simon’s 20 years of design communication experience has involved creative problem solving for entrepreneurs and organisations of all kinds, from global corporate rebranding to strategic identity planning for start ups and community projects.

Expertise? Strategically resonant creative, transforming complex ideas and visions into simple clear and impactful visual and verbal messages, communications with both integrity and the right level of vavavoom. Simon loves working with positive new ideas and won’t settle for less than the innovation and originality of thought that they deserve. That’s being creative.

Passions? Big ideas, playing a part in the success of future positive initiatives, getting close to that entrepreneurial flame and helping shed some ofmaking the light shine bright. Making connections, building partnerships, collaborative solutions and encouraging transparency through communication.

After beginning his creative career working with the major arts and cultural organisations in the UK, Simon spent a few years in full service agency culture building corporate and SME experience before answering his own entrepreneurial calling. He co-founded neo:creative in 2002, building an client list of national charities, regional environmental, social and cultural initiatives and small ethical enterprises.

He joined Ethical Junction CIC, an online nationwide network of over 1000 ethical businesses, as communications director in 2006 working with partners as diverse as The Cooperative Bank and BSKyB to promote better business and more sustainable lifestyles. 7creative was launched in 2008, specialising in offering a unique blend of strategic and creative thinking to innovative future positive projects, social and eco entrepreneurs, charities and CSR campaigns.

Simon has a BA(Hons) Graphic Design from Brighton University, the city-by-the-sea where he still lives with his wife and two young children.
